               A Peasant works in a farm and cultivates the land. He is one of the most important members of the society, as he produces the food, which is the ultimate requirement of everyone at the end of the day. The farmer’s life is very hard. He has to work from dawn to dusk in his field. He ploughs the fields and sow seeds. He has to manure the field, remove the weeds and irrigate the land  to get good yield. He has to protect the crops against pets and wild animals. When the crop matures, he harvest them and threshes them. Most of the peasants live a hard life in villages. Only education and financial assistance from the government can raise their standard of living.

        The 29^th Olympics started off in Beijing with a colorful ceremony. The traditional ceremonies that marked the opening of the Olympiad was really mind blowing. As soon as the countdown started everyone around the world were eagerly waiting for the commencement of the opening ceremony.
